Rowan Brown

Rowan graduated from the University of Melbourne Master of Architecture programme in 2005 and was both a Nell Norris scholar and a recipient of the Romano Foundation Prize for Heritage. He undertook his internship in The Hague, The Netherlands, working for Architectenburo Roeleveld-Sikkes where he worked on the architecture and urban design of large scale multi-residential housing developments.

In 2006 Rowan began work with Lovell Chen Architects and Heritage Consultants where he became a registered architect in 2008. While at Lovell Chen Rowan worked on a range of projects including new residences and the refurbishment of substantial heritage homes along with major institutional projects and novated mixed use developments. Key projects in his time at Lovell Chen include a conservatory extension at the heritage listed Alton at Mount Macedon, the four building heritage precinct at One40 WilliamStreet Perth for Cbus Property and the redevelopment of the Emily McPherson College at RMIT University for a new Graduate School of Business and Law. 

Christina Lai Cheong

Christina graduated with Honours from The University of Melbourne in 2004. With over 10 years experience in the construction industry, Christina has worked on a wide range of major Australian and international projects, across a number of sectors, including residential, institutional and commercial projects with high profile design focused practices Bates Smart, SJB and John McAslan+Partners (London).

Christina’s involvement has been in a diverse range of roles that span design, documentation and delivery across a range of scales but with particular focus on major projects. As such she has an enviable breadth of skilling and depth of understanding of the delivery of complex novated and fast tracked projects.

Her key focus in recent years has been on the seamless integration of interior architecture, services and interior design in the residential sector.

She has been involved in projects at all scales, from small institutional and bespoke residential projects to large scale multi-unit residential and mixed use schemes.
